To ensure an ultra-secure, well-equipped and climate-controlled environment, we have dedicated all our resources to providing the most advanced facilities in every one of our Internet Centres across Greater China. Our world-class facilities are designed to eliminate the threats posed to data and equipment by power outages, fire hazards, humidity, temperature and security breakdowns.

• Robust Power Backup
  To keep servers up and running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week regardless of power suspension, each of our Internet Centres is equipped with a state-of-the-art parallel redundant uninterruptible power supply (UPS), standby backup generators and a battery backup system to guarantee no-down-time service.

• Fire Control
  Our customers' mission-critical servers are protected by two fire fighting systems, a Fire Master 200 (FM 200) fire suppression system and water pre-action system. The former utilizes heptaflouropropane gas, which is environmental-friendly, secure and non-corrosive to electrical equipment, to extinguish fires by chemically preventing combustion; while the latter serves as a backup should a fire grow completely out of control.

• Temperature and Humidity Control
  A climate-control environment is critical to preventing problems from occurring due to overheating. To safeguard equipment, our Internet Centres are serviced by advanced 24-hour Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) Systems that can effectively keep the environment at a constant temperature of 22oC and relative humidity of 45%.
  
  The Centres' raised floor design further helps to boost ventilation and cooling. The raised floor also enables cables to be managed in a neat and tidy manner.

Security Control
To secure each environment from any unauthorized access, we have deployed stringent security controls in every centre. A 24 x 7 Network Operations Centre (NOC) monitors the entire environment around-the-clock with the help of a CCTV surveillance system, motion detection sensors and an alarm system, to prevent any physical intrusions.

Security is further enhanced by a special rack design used in every centre. While conventional systems make available only one lockable-door-rack, our world-class facilities offer a choice of two different specially designed racks - two half-door lockable racks and four quarter-door lockable racks. This flexible solution provides every customer with total security and a separate power supply, even for those occupying only 1/4 of a rack.
